One puck. One price.

Small enough for an Optimist. Precise enough for a start line.

A waterproof puck that floats if it goes over the side. Each sailor buys their own, charges it at home and brings it to every race.

  • VMGline RTK — centimetre-level RTK, L1+L5 GNSS, 10 Hz, heading and heel sensor
  • Live position to the map over 4G — no local network to rig
  • Heading, heel and bow position at the start

Club base station

Plug it in. RTK for the whole fleet.

The club owns one plug-and-play RTK base station. It sends corrections over the internet to every RTK puck on the water. No radio licence. No SWEPOS subscription.

1

Club plugs in the base

Mount it once at the club, connect power and internet. Done for the season.

2

Sailors bring their pucks

Each sailor owns and charges their own tracker. Nothing to hand out or collect.

3

Organiser enables tracking

One switch for the event. Every registered puck shows up on the map.

4

Race, follow, replay

Live over 4G during the race. Starts, finishes and replay after.

Zero work for the race office. No rental desk, no device handout, no setup crew. Organisers just enable tracking for the event.

FAQ

Straight answers

Why only RTK?

Centimetre-level RTK costs only a little more to build than plain GPS, and at ~1.5 m a GPS track can't tell you who was over the line. So every puck is RTK: exact starts, finishes, heading and heel, at 10 Hz.

Does the RTK model need the club base station?

For centimetre-level positioning, yes. The club's base station sends corrections over the internet. No radio licence and no SWEPOS subscription needed.

What does the race office have to do?

Enable tracking for the event. Sailors bring and charge their own pucks — nothing to hand out or collect.

Is it available now?

Not yet. Prototypes are in testing. Accuracy figures are targets until on-water tests are done. Clubs can join the 2027 pilot.

Where is the data stored?

The platform is built in Sweden with EU-based storage planned. Personal data can be exported and deleted on request under GDPR.
